From UAE, India, Scotland, England, Iran, Canada, Thailand, New Zealand, Netherlands and Qatar they came, to make the 2nd ITRA Assessor Course a great success.

Thanks to Traks Pro, the workshop’s host sponsor, this three day course got to have participants learn more about the ITRA training system, database (ITM), assessment processes, professional conduct, moderation/quality assurance, managing conflict and was consolidated through a range of mock assessments.

With more ITRA Instructors being trained as Assessors, this will increase access for candidates to be assessed against ITRA qualifications which are rapidly growing in popularity given no comparable non-profit global technical rescue training and assessment system exists.

Participants highly rated that course noting it not only gave them confidence in undertaking assessments, but also very helpful to better understand the overall ITRA training system and vision.

Further Assessor Courses are scheduled for 2020 on ITM for existing ITRA instructors.

Facilitator Jim Coffey talks to the group about assessment practices.
